Happily Never After

Here's a poem i wrote during science class. Yea, i know. Should've been paying attention to the teacher, but i rarely write poems, so it's actually a good thing, i think.

The hiss of silence
it kills
deafens me
forces me to believe reality.
He said,
Let go.

Spread out,
vast distances,
once filled with the bond of you and me.
It's crazy,
unexplainable.

She said,
don't go.
Tears slowly fall,
the puddle of regret.

He said,
I'm sorry
drops her hand.
Gravity takes it instead,
and she continues bawling.

Love,
a strong force.
Never meant to do any harm.
But it was never guaranteed
because
he said,
Goodbye.
